Walter Marienfeld

(1904 – 1944) Luftwaffe general and Knights Cross recipient, Inspector of Bombers and responsible for the readiness, training and tactics of the German bomber force, killed by shrapnel during an accident while watching the demo of an experimental flak weapon.
