Hugo Primozic
Primozic was the first non-commissioned officer of the Wehrmacht to be awarded the Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross . Later, he also became the first non-commissioned officer to receive oak leaves to the Knight’s Cross and at the same time the first member of the assault artillery to receive this high award . He received all four decorations ( Iron Cross II and I Class , Knight’s Cross and Knight’s Cross with Oak Leaves) within a period of five months .
